Most likely, they will never respond to a job application at all. If they do, and you are exceptionally well-qualified, it will take a few months at least. And that was before COVID.
However, I would not recommend an application at all. Those are only used to screen people out, not to hire them. The world works in the opposite direction. You need to find people already on those horribly overworked teams who are desperate for help. Look on Twitter and LinkedIn. On Twitter, Apple employees rarely post anything typical, so it can be hard to find them. The only time they will post is to tell people to file Radars (or Feedback these days) and to desperately beg for DMs to apply for open positions. On LinkedIn, look for people who have changed their name or description to some variation of “We are hiring!!!!”.
Good luck! While you are waiting on Apple, see if you can get a job at Google, Microsoft, Amazon, or Facebook. Nothing impresses Apple like current employment at one of their big competitors.

Hi! There is no single and simple answer to your question. Apple is a big company, and I mean really big, with many HR offices for different departments all over the world. Just be patient and also - very important - don't be disappointed if you'll never get any response. This may also happen. Consider your application a shot in the dark and don't rely too much on it. There are lots of opportunities besides Apple out there.
Assume never. Too many submitted CVs.The key to employment is networking with those that can directly hire you, or influence the hiring decision makers. Hand CVs to key people, not submit them to exclusionary computers.
The internet has been a boon and a bust for employment. While online tools make it easy to apply, that means *everyone* applies. Because of the overwhelming flood of applications, companies no longer bother to reply unless they are interested.
And, as etresoft implied, you need a *really* standout resume to get noticed. If I applied, I *might* get some scrutiny because my current employer is a national lab. But even then, I would not expect to hear anything.
