Has anyone had a problem dialing 911 from iPhone in the US outside of their local service area?
Has anyone received a wrong/discontinued number alert from verizon when dialing 911 from iPhone when outside of their local service area?

Per instructed by a local Verizon store representative, tried switching to airplane mode and shutting the phone off. Waited about a minute and rebooted the phone and switched off airplane mode and was able to connect to local emergency dispatcher.
