Powerbeats Pro - Right earbud randomly disconnects despite having charge

The right earbud disconnects randomly after playing the 'out of battery' sound and so I check the battery and it reports 0%. I put it back in the case and the battery widget then shows that it hasn't died and that it has charge. The left one works perfectly with no issues so I have no idea why the right piece has started to do this.

Does anyone have the same problem and does anyone know the fix for it? I've reset the earbuds multiple times but it hasn't changed anything.
