Kinda hard to explain

So at some point after my phone did an update I was locked out of my original account. So then I took it upon myself to create another iCloud account which allowed me some access to my phone like the AppStore or what not but then I also changed my number but on same phone thinking I could possibly restart the phone key in my new iCloud account with new number and bam! I’m in there.. but nope didn’t work.. but now my issue is, now it’s like my new number and my old number our linked together somehow. I can’t sent pic msg because my iMessage is connected to my old number.. I mean it’s confusing and really becoming a problem.. so I jus wanted to know if anybody possibly had a slight idea of what happened and is there a way to fix it

See if anything here helps.

iMessage on your iPhone or online - Deregister

Messages or FaceTime - Add or remove your phone number

Why don't you try to recover your old account?

1)Just try to change trusted phone number on "Settings/Apple ID/Password & Security".

2) Try to change "My number" through "Settings/Phone".

3) If first two steps won't work, reset all settings through "Settings/General/Reset".

Important note: Reset all settings will reset your wallpaper on home screen, network settings, keyboard and accessibility settings, FaceTime & iMessage activation, Touch ID/Face ID & Passcode, sound and haptic settings etc.
