The Thunderbolt 3 USB-C to Thunderbolt 2 adapter, and a Thunderbolt 2 cable, most likely.
The four MacBook Pro models from 2013 all have either Thunderbolt 1 or Thunderbolt 2, depending on Early or Late 2013.
Though I’d here usually use either a Time Machine backup of the previous Mac, or a clone of the previous Mac created on external storage using Disk Utility.
The Thunderbolt transfer path does work, though.
