Did you use the procedure in If you forgot the passcode on your iPad, or your iPad is disabled - Apple Support


Did the iPad go to the recovery mode screen and give you the option to restore? If not, what happened?


If so, did it completer the restore?

If not, the following may also help: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
