iPhone 12 Pro proximity sensor

The proximity sensor to my iPhone 12 Pro doesn't work well. When I make a call, the display is not obscured and the mute or Loudspeaker is always activated

Hey Cr@zydi@mond,

If your proximity sensor is not functioning properly there are a few steps you can try to fix it. First, check for any updates to your device. Second, remove any casing or screen protector that may be obstructing the sensor. When the sensor is clear from any debris or objects try placing a call and putting your hand over the front camera to see if the screen goes black. If it does not then you may need to consider contacting Apple Support for service options. You can contact Apple Support by following this link: Contact Apple Support.

Best Wishes.
