How do I get Apple TV app on my Samsung TV.? It is never a choice

Select (newer) models Samsung TV support the Apple TV app, either pre-installed or downloadable from the manufacturer’s app repository. Unsupported TVs will need an external streaming device to access the Apple TV app.

If your smart TV can’t find the app, then the TV model may be unsupported.

You say “Go to the Apple TV app on your smart TV etc. well… that is exactly what I can’t do. be When I search for it the TV just says it can’t find it.
