iPhone 11 receiving verification codes

Hi! I just switched from a Samsung back to the apple iPhone 11 when going into my accounts like Prime and trying to change my phone number it's telling me that it has sent a verification code via text message yet I am not receiving them. Is there some sort of setting that I need to change? Please Help!
