Iphone Stolen - how to erase details/content on that lost phone?

How do I erase all my content/info/documents etc on that stolen phone? Already bought a new iphone.

If you enabled Find My on the stolen phone log in to https://icloud.com/find, choose the phone from the list of devices, put it in Lost mode (if you didn’t already) and then Erase it. DO NOT remove it from your account, ever. If you do that frees up the phone so the thief can use it.


And if you get a message from “Apple” saying your phone has been found, with a link to log in to locate it, DON’T. It is a phishing message attempting to steal your identity.
