Does deleting apps on a shared mac delete those apps for the other users on the mac?
I really need to clear up space but i'm worried about doing something I might regret.

Sorry my first reply was incorrect.
I have now edited it.
If there are several users on a single mac then yes if you remove apps
from the mac then the other users will not be able to use them as they are gone.
Apps are stored in the Applications folder which is universal and are accessed by all
Users.
It is possible to create an Applications folder in the User account for each User
and installing apps there for that particular User, but doing so would take up
more disk space.
Most apps take up very little disk space so won't make much difference.
Which apps are you wanting to delete.
Most disk space on macs is taken up with movies, images and music
you should consider offloading files like those that you do not need
on a daily basis to an external drive.
If you have several Users sharing one mac then they should be encouraged to copy the files they have
been working on to an external storage device after their session and then delete them from the mac
to protect the mac from running too low on free space.
If a mac runs too low on free space, (less than 10GBs) it is running the risk of locking up and then everyones
data could be compromised as the mac could lock up and become unusable.
Try to keep a minimum of 20GBs free on the mac, the mac needs to do its own housekeeping and file
management.
