Connecting Skullcandy ANC earbuds to new iPhone 12 12

Why is it that my Skullcandy ANC earbuds will not connect or be shown available under my Bluetooth devices? I’ve put them in pairing mode, regardless, they still don’t show up under my Bluetooth devices. Just bought this phone new yesterday, beginning to get very frustrated with this situation. Do I need to switch back to Android?

I just figured it out on my phone. You have to unpair it from your old phone in order to pair it with your new phone. You may also have to reset your earbuds as well.
