Resetting MacBook M1 Air

I'm giving away my MacBook Air to my little sister, when resetting the device from recovery mode I ran into an issue, after I called apple support they told me to delete the SSD volume so I did, but I think this broke my mac! all I can see on screen now is "your mac has no volumes to recover" and two options under that to restart the mac. I called Apple support again this time another guy picked up and said I shouldn’t have deleted the SSD.
