Why can’t I pay for PANDORA?

I’ve been trying all the free music services I can find in order to discover one that I feel comfortable paying. None seem to work well. I get a few songs and then they all seem to freeze. So now I’m thinking that it must be my old phone. It’s an iPhone 6s Plus with 128 gbs of memory. I love it because it still has an ear phone jack but maybe it’s time to go. Please tell me the problem lies somewhere else since I don’t have the money to upgrade to another IPhone. I may have to turn to the dark side and buy an Android (shudder).

iPhone 6s, iOS 14

Welcome Georgeleonardlater,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, streaming services for music seem to stop responding after playing a few songs. We'll do our best to assist.

For an issue like this, we'd recommend using: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open

We'd isolate the issue to see if it occurs when connect to other Wi-Fi networks or using only the cellular network.

If you're using a VPN or anti-virus software on the iPhone, we would disable these, reboot the iPhone and test it out again.

For issues updating your billing details, see: Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods

Hoping that helps out, take care!
