connecting bluetooth keyboard

Hello

I have a computer with 10.9 and a short Bluetooth keyboard.

But I can't use F10 to F12 keys to set volume.

How can I set the keyboard to get back standard commands with F10 to F12 keys ?

However, in either USB or Bluetooth mode, System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard doesn't show the option "Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys.". Only when I use Apple's OEM keyboards, this option appears. However, if I press the fn and esc keys on the Satechi keyboard, this option is enabled. No utilities are needed. Pressing this key combination again disables the option. I suspect that it would work with other third-party keyboards as well.

iMac keyboard bluetooth I can’t log on to my iMac using the password because my keyboard is not connected to the Bluetooth. Is there a way to connect it back to the computer without logging on?

Hello, DCDP92.

You can set the behavior of the Function keys in the Keyboard preferences panel.

Click System Preferences > Keyboard.
