An Unknown Error Occurred When Signing Into My Apple ID

I was having this issue where I was getting an "unknown error occurred" when trying to sign into my apple ID/iCloud account. I got the error in System Preferences as well as AppleTV app and Music app.

The problem was only on one of my devices.

Here's how I fixed it.

-I went to: appleid.apple.com

-I removed the device getting the error from my device list on appleid.apple.com

-I was then able to sign in on the device.
