I tried going into Music>Preferences>Playback but could not find the lossless audio option or any toggle related to that. Please help and my MacBook Pro is the early 2015 model with latest Music app version and Big Sur 11.4

Check you meet all the criteria in the document, including being somewhere where lossless is currently available:
Check availability for your individual country at the Apple Music Overview page (about a third of the way down where it mentions lossless). If it is still "coming soon" you will have to wait.
