Chrome Requires Passcode to Use Saved Passwords

Chrome (91.0.4472.80) requires the iPad unlock passcode in order to use saved website passwords.

Earlier instances of this indicate there's a setting chrome://flags/#enable-autofill-password-reauth-ios that can be disabled - but that no longer appears to be an available option.

Any help on getting Chrome to allow use of saved passwords without having to enter the iPad unlock passcode each time?
