iTunes for Windows Update?
Does Apple have any plans to update iTunes for Windows at anytime? The latest update is from 2018 and it's pretty stale and needs fixes. Preferably with the Smart Playlists.

12.11.3 is the most current iTunes version. It was released in April 2021. Not sure where you got its from 2018.

No, iTunes on Windows will continue to be iTunes. Apple has not mentioned anything about splitting it up on Windows like they did on Mac.

And what version are you on 12.11.3?
It sounds like you are not getting iTunes updates, because there have been many new versions since 2018. Windows 7 and 8 are no longer supported, but there are relatively recent versions even for those. If you are running Windows 10, then the version mentioned by razmee209 is the latest at this time.

That is the version I have on my Windows 10 pc.

I'm not sure what you expect to be better in "Music" as it appears on the latest Mac OS, but you should be careful what you wish for. You may not like it.
