Apple TV 3rd Gen is not able to restore

When I have connected the Apple TV to my iMac and pressed restore it comes up with “The Apple TV software update server could not be contacted. The requested resource was not found“

So my Apple TV is still stuck on the airplay screen.

What else can I do ?

Apple TV HD Stuck on “Preparing apple TV for restore” I got an apple tv with no remote and no apple id tied to it and i tried to restore it using iTunes. It got trough the update but now i am stuck on it saying Preparing for update but it still shows the home menu.

AppleTV+ My apple tv stopped working after I updated by OS. How do I get it to work again?

Please try unplugging your Apple TV from its power source for 2-3 minutes and then retry.
