opening the MacBook air lid issue

Is someone experiencing that the lid on the MacBook air m1 chip is very tight and it is difficult to open? the laptop base is also lifting up, I don't know whether it is problem with my unit or a problem with the MacBook air itself.

MacBook Air M1 lid opens up when placed vertically So my MacBook Air M1 delivered to me 3 days back considering I am posting this question today plus bought it from apple official online store , so the problem I have been facing since the day it arrived is that when I keep my Mac in a laptop bag it stays vertical at 90 degrees when I was to take it out of bag the lid was quite open and I rechecked it the same happened every time ,the screen lid slightly opens up every time I keep it vertically I guess there is some issue with hinge or magnet don't know and moreover my lid didn't open with with one hand (which I think is normal please correct me if I am wrong). please guys enlighten me with what could have possibly gone wrong with this device and suggestions to get this resolved . Macbook Air M1 Chip Turns on with Lid Closed Hi. What do I need to do if my mac turns on after I shut it down and close the lid? I am using macOs Ventura. Thanks for the help.

Appears to be an issue with your particular notebook. FWIW, I have a M1 MacBook Air and I have no issues with either opening or closing the display.
