Apple TV (software) keeps asking for password on one TV not another

We have two TVs (neither is Apple branded; one uses Roku to stream, the other an Amazon Firestick). On one we put in the Apple password and the two factor verification code once and are never asked for either again, On the 2nd TV we are asked for the Apple password and the two factor verification code every single time. This is a royal pain. Why does it happen? Is there any way to resolve the situation other than entering the password and code every single freaking time?

Hi Swegnson,

It looks like you're having issues with Two-factor Authentication with a non Apple device. If that's correct, let's try the following.

Restart the device you are having the issue on.

After that, sign in again. If you see an option to keep signed in or anything similar, make sure that is selected.

Also, make sure the software on your device is up to date.
