water resistance
when you go swimming or washing your hands as your apple watch gets wet, do you need to do anything before swimming (no workout) such as the water lock to start the water resistance? or just go swim right ahead.

The water lock doesn't actually 'start the water resistance'. It prevents the watch from reacting to unintentional input caused by liquid on the capacitive touch screen.
