I need to restore my iPhone via iTunes.

I am trying to restore my mom's iPhone after several years of inactivity.

The account has been reset, but I still cannot access the phone.

I do not know how to navigate iTunes.

In iTunes find the small iPhone icon by the media dropdown and click on it. This should open the summary page for the iPhone.

Then follow the steps here: link-> Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
