Where is the CANCEL AUTO-RENEWAL option for subscriptions?

I would like to set some of my yearly subscriptions to NOT 'AutoRenew'. I just started a free yearly trial of AppleTV and I went into the subscription area for this item and the only option was to "Cancel" immediately; there was no option to TURN OFF AutoRenew. This really feels more insidious than an actual 'promotion'; because the default and ONLY option given is AutoRenewal and most likely people will forget to cancel until they see they were charge. Is there really no way to cancel "AutoRenewal"?

Not for trials. Put a note in your calendar to cancel it slightly more than 24 hours before the trial ends.

You should set up a reminder on your phone or calendar, this will allow you to make the most out of your trial before cancelling it following the steps at How to cancel a subscription from Apple – Apple Support

Please remember to cancel the trial with at least 24 hours to go until the renewal, or it may continue automatically.
