Getting edited photo back to FC

I selected a still photo from my gallery in FCP and right clicked, selecting reveal in Photos where I edited it. I now want to get the edited version back to my FCP project but don't know how to toggle back to FCP. There used to be a button called "details" to let you select FCP but I don't see it in photos any more. Your assistance is appreciated.

Editing photos in Photos is not something that I do, but I did a quick test and my findings may help you:

I selected one photo in the Photos browser in FCP, and chose Edit in Photos. I made some changes.

The thumbnail image in FCP did update to the new version (after navigating out of the album and back); the viewer was still showing the old version, BUT... dragging the image to the timeline produced the correct edited version.
