Can my i phone get hacked by sharing internet hotspot to someone?

can some one hack my phone using their hotspot If I use someone’s hotspot on their phone are they able to hack me? ive reset my phone but I just want to know whether it’s an easy thing for someone to do? thankyou in advance!

Sharing your Hotspot with another does allow them to access your network, so we only recommend sharing with those you trust and to set up a password.
