Closed safari tab still visible on iPhone

Hi, I recently bought a new Mac mini. I started using Safari on the Mac and now in my iPhone's Safari I always see a tab which is supposed to be open on my Mac but which was closed about 2 weeks ago.

I can close this tab on my iPhone but every time it will be showed again and again.

the only thing that works is to remove my iPhone's Safari from the iCloud sync which is not great.

Some of you had my same problem and found a solution?

Thanks

Hi Amanda_Elle,

thanks for your answer. I've already done what you suggested to me, I tried another time after your message but it didn't work, that annoying tab is still there.

Tomorrow I'm going to contact the Apple Support, I hope they can fix it.

Thanks for your kindness,

Lorenzo

Hi baffo4,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

We are happy to help with the issue you are having with Safari and the tabs open after they've been closed on another device. It sounds like you are using Set up and use iCloud Tabs.

If you turn this feature off, restart your iPhone and Mac mini, then enable the feature again, does your iPhone now have the correct tabs? You can do this in your iPhone Settings. Go to Settings, tap [your name], then select iCloud and Safari.

If the issue is still occurring, we'd recommend contacting Apple Support, so they can take a closer look at what's happening. Get Support

Cheers!
