No dual SIM?!?!?!

So disappointed. Just purchased an iPhone 12 Pro Max yesterday, believing it would be dual SIM, and having read and heard that would be the case.

It wasn't true!

Can this be helped?

It's not fair to release info about a product which is only true for certain of its prototypes and not others. This was a major investment, and I am now definitely feeling misled!

The above is false. All currently sold iPhones are dual sim capable. However, most iPhone models will have 1 Physical sim and 1 eSim (embedded / electronic sim).

Only iPhones meant for sale in China, Hong Kong and Macau support 2 physical SIM cards since eSims are not allowed there.

What exactly is your issue? Your iPhone 12 should 1 physical SIM card and 1 eSim unless it was meant for sale in China, Hong Kong or Macau.
