Dual sim or not?

Hey, do the iPhone 13 pro and 13 pro max come in dual sim model only? I need the dual sim variant but can't really find how to be sure about it. What's the physical and e-sim? Do they have any reported issues?

A dual SIM with two physical SIM cards are only available in China mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao. See the following from Using Dual SIM with two nano-SIM cards - Apple Support

In China mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao, certain iPhone models feature Dual SIM with two nano-SIM cards.

For iPhones sold in the U.S., see the following from Using Dual SIM with an eSIM - Apple Support

With iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13, and iPhone 13 mini, you can use Dual SIM with either two active eSIMs or a nano-SIM and an eSIM.

I don;'t know of any issues with using eSIM.

If we are buying the phone from the USA, does this come with the e-sim only? Are there are any issues with using the eSIM or does it work normally like two nano sims?
