Why won’t my Paramount +/Showtime channel bundle work?

I saw other people had this same problem, but the replies were locked. My subscription for the two channels renewed today. I can watch some things, but the only reason I have P+ is to watch Colbert. It is trying to force me to download the app for his show only. Same for Desus & Mero from last night. It’s like my subscription doesn’t exist. This isn’t about the app developers, because I deleted the apps. It’s the Apple TV app within the Apple TV itself, that's pushing me to the apps and to subscribe when I've been subscribed for a while. This is getting really old. At this point, I might as well sign up for regular cable. I tried to get help from Apple last month, they too tried to tell me to contact the developers when this is Apple TV channel related issues. Fix your issues, Apple!!!
