Accessing itunes

I am paying £0.79 a month, but I can no longer buy music from the iTunes store. So what am I paying for? I don’t use music so much as to justify paying £9.99 a month for Applemusic! I just want to buy the occasional work. Why can I no longer do so?

Why would I purchase via iTunes? This is more of a general comment rather than a question for the community. Why would I purchase ANYTHING via the iTunes store? For the same price as a movie download I can order a Blu-ray, rip it and watch it on any device I wish without dealing with the BS that is DRM. Similarly with music. Paolo Nutini's album, 'Last Night in the Bittersweet' is £10.99 via iTunes, exactly the same price from Amazon as a CD and available as part of a music subscription at no additional cost. My subscription is currently with Apple Music but until recently was with Spotify. I simply don't see me ever downloading anything from iTunes in the future.

Why can't I purchase what I search for in iTunes? iTunes still offers lots of random, mainstream music to buy, so why can't I purchase anything that I search for? I'm not going to subscribe to their music services, but I've bought a lot of music through iTunes. Don't they want my money anymore?

Whether or not you have an Apple Music subscription, you can buy song downloads from the iTunes Store. Follow the steps in here carefully:
