Can I use my iPhone as a controller for an Apple Arcade game I'm playing on my Mac?

I have an iPhone X and a MacBook Pro 2020. I recently got Oceanhorn on Apple Arcade but the graphics are terrible on my 4 year old phone so I tried to switch to Mac but the controls on the keyboard are so hard to use. Is there a way to connect my phone as a controller for the game effectively? Can I use the same methods used to connect your phone to Apple TV? (I don’t have Apple TV set up on my television but I do have Apple TV+. I have not used a remote for it before)

I would greatly appreciate any assistance, thank you :)
