Hi All I am in Australia and I can see that ECG on Apple watch has been officially approved. However when I try to configure ECG on my Apple watch (series 5, OS 7.5) using my iPhone 11 (OS 14.5), I am still getting message in the health app that ECG is not available in your region. I've checked my region settings etc and it's Australia. Anyone been able to use ECG functionality in Australia yet ?

Were both your iPhone and Apple Watch intended for the Australian market? What are the model numbers for each, the one that ends in something like LL/A?
Are you using a VPN? Also check the region settings and see where you are shown to be located in Maps.
Then at this point I’d suggest clicking on the Get Support link at the top right of this page and work directly with Apple.
Hi there well both, the Apple watch and iPhone were purchased from brick and mortar retail stores so I assume they were for Australian markets. iPhone model # MWLY2X/A and watch model # MX3C2X/A
Just tried that. Still no luck. Getting message that ECG is not available in your region
Update the phone to iOS 14.6 then do a forced restart on each device and try again.
Checked map, no VPN , region is set to Australia
