Why does IPhone 12 Pro Max screenshot of video looks different from the video?

Reposting Sethaustin99m’s question “Why are my screenshots a different color than the video I’m screenshoting them from?!??” I paused my video, take a screenshot on my iPhone 12 Pro Max and the picture looks like it’s color edited. This didn’t happen on my iPhone 6s or iPhone 8. Yes my OS is updated to the latest 14.6 as of this post. Phone restarted. Did everything you can suggest. Yes did that too. Thank you. No a screenshot of the video won’t help here because it does not look like the video anyway.

Have you tried 60fps video?

Yes I have tried shooting videos in HD 30 and 60fps, 4K 24, 30 and 60fps, and pause the videos to take various screenshots on various frames again and again. All the screenshots of the videos are dull, appears muted and looks bad and does not look like the vibrant video. Basically any screenshot of a video shot with the iPhone 12 Pro Max will not look like the video it was screenshot from. It will look dull. I managed to use my Sony RX100 to capture this difference.
