We understand you're looking for information or help connecting a MacBook Air to an iMac. If you're looking to transfer all data from one Mac to another, you can do that using the steps outlined here: Move your content to a new Mac


If you want to sync some data, like documents, email, or calendars, that can be done through iCloud: Sign in with your Apple ID


If you're looking to connect the two computer for a different purpose, tell us a bit more about what you mean to accomplish. The more information you can provide, the better the chances you'll get a helpful response from the community.
