I understand that you have a new iPhone. Was the passcode previously set on your iPhone by you? If YES then is this the passcode that unlocks the screen to get to the home screen? If YES and your iPhone is informing you that the passcode is incorrect then you will need to reset your passcode. You will need a computer to complete this task. You can reset your passcode by following the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ How to reset your passcode on a disabled iPhone. All your data on your iPhone will be wiped clean in the process.
