Apple Music Spatial Audio

I’m playing songs listed in the “Now in Spatial Audio” section, but it doesn’t seem to be activating. I’m using a pair of AirPods Pro but spatial audio does not work even if I turn it on. The little animation that should be active (in the attached image) while the audio being played is spatial isn’t activating, and that’s why I think I’m having issues with Apple Music in specific I have the Dolby Atmos setting set to “Always on”. Spatial audio is working fine in other applications such as Apple TV
