How to update AirTag Location

Apple specifically said the AirTag was not designed for tracking pets. It doesn’t absolve them of a badly implemented product, but the law suit will not go anywhere.

Elaborate please on “my AirTag won’t pick up the signals from iPhone 6 and iPhone X.

Can all of us on this thread return our Air tags for a refund, since they aren’t working properly??

My co-driver doesn’t have an iphone. The product is useless.

My AirTag used to update to my daughters iPhone 11 no problem. Now she has a new iPhone 11 and it only updates around mine.

My AirTag used to show periodic updates across town, but now with ios15 it only updates the map on my iPhone at home. On the Mac is does update while it’s away so it’s the phone. WTF?

Why don’t you guys read the entire thread. It’s already been explained multiple times how the AirTag works. Or are you guys here just to vent? Seriously.
