How do I remove the Safari left sidebar? Or turn it off? Stop it from sliding open - ever?

This does not resolve the problem. I want it to be gone - for good. Never to slide out of the left edge.
You can hide it.
Click Sidebar button in theTool bar.
In FullScreen mode?
Just avoid mouse pointer hitting the left most edge of the scree,
Safari left sidebar - remove
