Keyboard for old iPad 32GB Model A1416

I am not sure what you were planning to do with this iPad, but a 2012 iPad 3rd generation is an over 9-year old device, today, in 2021.

While any wireless, Bluetooth keyboard will work with this model iPad, there are virtually no more apps available, initially, from the Apple iOS App Store, any longer to use with such an old iPad.

Also, that internal battery is over 9-years old and, also, on borrowed time.

Apple ended support for all 8-10-year old iOS devices nearly 5 years, ago, in 2016.

Third party app developers abandoned and stopped supporting these 8-10-year old iOS devices nearly 3 years, ago, in 2018.

There are, virtually, NO MORE third party apps available from the iOS App Store, any longer!

Third party compatible apps for such old devices are few and far between, now, in 2021.

This includes apps for both iOS 9 AND iOS 10 devices!

AND, that nearly 5-year old default iOS Safari Web browser is too old, not secure and not safe to use to access today’s modern Internet, any longer.

Simply put, a 3rd gen iPad is too old and obsolete now.

Sorry, but this is the reality for ALL 8-10-year old AND OLDER iOS devices now. Especially now in 2021!

So, unless a purchasing fairly cheap wireless keyboard, it is NOT worth putting ANY significant money into such an old iPad.

There are no apps to support this iPad and wireless Bluetooth keyboard will be a waste of money just to use with this over 9-year old device.
