Can my MacBook Pro 2012 High Sierra handle editing gaming footage for youtube videos on like Final Cut Pro or do I need a better MacBook?

It depends on the specifications of the media. 4K 60fps. Probably not. HD H.264 should be ok with a fast drive.

what about the 2019 MacBook version? can that handle the use of video editing software such as premiere pro and after effects?
