over the past year or so, I thought it would be a clever idea to use colours on emails to group certain topics as I used flags as a mark to have to respond.
now I would like to view only the coloured emails. like I could view flagged only emails.
is this possible?

just by using this. It changes the background colour....not the text. The answer below gives my answer I think. Which is what I thought. Its a shame really. just have to go through and do it manually. thankyou
The colors are just a visual enhancement, not an organizational entity. There is no method to search, group, or identify them other than your eyes.
How did you use colors? Directly by changing the text?
thankyou. thats what I thought, but was hoping there may have been a "life hack" somehow. It would certainly be a useful feature if you know anyone that can make it so.
