Monitors are mirroring each other

Hey there. I've looked all over the web and I haven't been able to figure anything else on this. I have three monitors connected through an adapter to my MackBook Pro. I have tried going through system preferences -> Displays -> Display -> Arrangement. The mirroring option is unchecked and I still can't get them connected. I disconnected the third monitor thinking it was too much for my MacBook, but they are still mirroring each other. If anyone has any solutions I'd be very thankful.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

Some Docks require a DisplayLink Driver, which MUST be installed to support any displays.

Depending on EXACTLY what Dock you are using, if the resolution on any one display is set too high, it eats up the ability to support a second distinct display, and only mirroring is possible.

There are also Docks sold as supporting multiple displays, but in the fine print you discover "with the same picture on each".

Hi QueenUnicorn,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities and thanks for posting your issue here! We understand that you're experiencing issues when attempting to connect multiple displays to your Mac. First, we'd recommend reviewing the information and steps outlined in Use multiple displays with your Mac. Depending on which Mac you have, will also determine how many displays you can connect.

Let us know if this helps. Cheers!
