Apple TV no power after lightning strike and power outage

Help! I have 2 x Apple TV’s which no longer power up/work due to a lightning strike and power outage despite being plugged in to a power surge protector. The TVs were also plugged in to the same power surge protector but they were both ok. Any advice on getting them back working or repairing them please?

This is Expected:

With a power surge occurring, your Apple TV may no longer power on. So, it is time for new Apple TVs.

Learn from this:

If you are aware of thunder in your area, the keep valuable items unplugged from power outlets.

Unfortunately "surge protectors" cannot cope with 1000s of volts from a lightning strike - they are intended for relatively small voltage increases over the electricity grid. The only safe way is to unplug devices when a severe thunderstorm is approaching. From bitter experience I also found that ethernet cables are vulnerable to EMF voltages from very close lightning strikes and these can damage electronics even if there is no grid voltage surge.

It is likely that the circuit boards in your ATVs are cooked and are not repairable.
