When you Try to look for Song on Itune the artist is not listed why is That

If you mean a song in your iTunes Library (rather than in the iTunes Store), be aware that if a song is on a compilation (various artists album), that the artist will not be listed in the Artist headings unless that artist has an album in their name.
For example, if I have three songs by Artist A in my Library, but each song is on a different compilation album, then Artist A will not be listed under Artists. However, if I then import an entire album by artist A, then there will be an entry for artist A under the artists headings and it will include the three songs on the compilation albums.
