As I buy iPhone from India dealer said it’s an imported iPhone So I am in doubt is it new or repaired one so how can I check this

That phone is for the Japanese market, meaning if it requires warranty or other service work, it will need to be returned to Japan.
But he said warranty is worldwide.
He is misinformed or deliberately lied to make a sale.
