Reiwa showing in Calendar and messing with dates

Reiwa is showing as a year. I don’t have ‘alternative calendars’ switched on

Apps that use date ranges such as ticketing apps or invoice storage, the dates are nonsensical e.g. 2021 is showing as 0003

Settings > General > Language and Region > Calendar > [Select Gregorian]
