About background view

Hi, I’ve recently found out that I view music a bit differently in the Apple Music app.

The 1st photo is a someone’s photo I found on the Internet and the 2nd one is mine.

Just wanted to ask why is it like that and how can I change it so I will also have this kinda blurry effect?

Thanks in advance :)

Hey there!

first of all you'll need to make sure your device is up to date. Follow these steps: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204204

If this doesn't work or your device is already up to date you may have 'Increase Contrast' turned on in settings. You'll want to turn this off to get the blur effect on Apple Music.

To do this go to your settings app > Accessibility > Display and text size > turn off Increase Contrast

Hope this Helps!
