Syncing an earlier release of a cd over a newly released version

I bought a Cher cd back in the 90's titled Its a Mans World. I fell in love with it. Somehow, over time, I lost the original cd and went about replacing it. On the newer version of the cd, the tracks are rerecorded and rearranged to the point that I don't care for it. I managed to find a copy of the original cd, but when I recorded it, it wouldn't sync the older versions of the songs to Itunes.. Is there a solution to this problem?

Imported CD Filed Incorrectly I'm importing old CDs into Apple Music. However, Music sometimes insists, using its own bizarre logic, on filing a CD under, say, Artist rather than under Album. How can I move such an imported CD to be filed under the Album category rather than under Artist?

Downloading a CD to Music I have an original CD, not a copy, of Andre Bocelli's Passione. When I loaded the CD, it prompted and asked if I wished to download, which I did, and it downloaded all tracks. However, it didn't save all of the tracks under the one Album but instead split out tracks 5, 8 and 9 into another Album with the same name. The artist, album name and composer on each of the tracks is the same on these 3 tracks as it is on the all of the tracks stored under the 1st album named Passione. Genre and Year are the same. I tried to delete the songs from Music and deleted the media files in the music folder including the album and artist name. I reloaded and the same issue. I'm at a loss as to what's happening here.
